FROM HEAD TO TOE FASHION CRITIQUE By Name Colorology’s B.P. Greycastle

B.P. Greycastle is the founder of the Name Colorology philosophy and author of YOUR NAME AND COLORS: Key To Your Beauty, Career, Personality, Romance and Success!

Being a color expert, in which he has broken the human color code, Greycastle’s way of fashion critiquing adds much more expertise than other fashion experts because he brings in his exceptional knowledge of how and what colors look the best on people. He has the ability to tell and dress a person in exactly what their following personality center colors are:

  • Spiritual – Youthful, Wholesome, Cheerful, Creative
  • Mental – Intellectual, Smartly Elegant
  • Vocal – Harmonious, Talkative, Stylishly Organized
  • Physical – Dramatic, Warmly Handsome, Sincere
  • Control – Regal, Formal, Refined, Powerful
  • Emotional – Romantic, Feminine, Soft and Relaxed
  • Sexual – Glamorous, Alluring, Sexy, Mysterious

He uses Name Colorology to determine if the actresses/actors are wearing the right colors attuned to any of their 7 energy centers based on their names, and if they were able to successfully pull off a glamorous look in any of the 7 image types for the most highly anticipated award shows (and red carpet) of the year.

Now, let’s check out Name Colorology Head To Toe Fashion Critique for the Golden Globes, starting with the ladies who made an impression:

RHIANNA

Greycastle says that everything about Rhianna’s outfit is quite wonderful.  Based on his Name Colorology philosophy, Rhianna’s sexual glamorous center color is black, that’s why she looks amazing in this ensemble from head to toe.  He says her hairstyle is very unique and looks fantastic on her.  And her jewelry, gloves and purse accentuates the whole great look.   One thing that didn’t impress him was that overly voluminous black velvet cape that takes the eye away from the rest of her great look, and says a smaller and lighter cape would have framed the look much better.  “Rhianna, please get rid of that big, gigantic bed comforter you’re carrying around…” Greycastle laughs jokingly.  “Except for that cape, it all looks very harmonious and well-put together. One, if not, the best for the night.”

MICHELLE YEOH

Golden Globe Best Actress winner Michelle Yeoh looks very elegant with that sparkling midnight blue gown.  Coincidentally, blue is Michelle’s emotional romantic center color according to B.P. Greycastle’s Name Colorology philosophy.

Michelle is famous for her martial arts movies. She told the Golden Globe producers “Shut up, I can beat you up”  when they tried to cut her off during her speech.  But how could anybody be mad at her?  She looked so beautiful in her gown.

MONICA BARBARO

Another big winner according to B.P. Greycastle.  He says that Monica Barbaro wore her emotional center romantic color red to perfection.  Even her lipstick matched the color of the design perfectly.  The color of her gown and overall look harmonizes with her emotional center aura.

Very feminine material and romantic.

QUINTA BRUNSON

Quinta looks amazing in her gown because she is wearing her glamorous sexual center color, but Greycastle claims that it would have even looked more organized if she had used light blue instead of pink as her accent color.  Blue is her secondary glamorous center color based on his Name Colorology philosophy.  He says her jewelry should be much more elegant, preferably in the light blue as well.  He also says her jewelry does not match at all and takes away from the basic overall glamorous look she has.

JENNIFER HUDSON

The design and style cut on her is ok.  And the color is also ok but the material is too heavy and too thick.  A lighter, more feminine material in this color would have worked much better.  Yellow is her intellectual and physical center color, which gives off that smart, cheerful vibe.

Greycastle mentioned that she could have worn strappy heels instead of the pointed shoes.  Her 3 pieces of jewelry – earring and 2 bracelets don’t match…  and those nails, they’re too pointed.  It’s a bit of a hit and miss with Jennifer’s ensemble.

Emma D’Arcy

B.P. Greycastle would love to work with “House of Dragon” star Emma D’Arcy, and design a glamorous ensemble for her.   Emma wore her glamorous sexual center colors attuned to her name but the style of her outfit was not very glamorous and sexy.  B.P. Greycastle said that Emma could have done it differently.  In particular, he mentioned that her eyebrows and eyeliners do not match.  “I would like to get a hold of Emma and do a black & white glamorous and sexy outfit, and I will assure her that I will make her look absolutely fantastic.”

VIOLA DAVIS

Despite the weather, the stars braved the rain and showed up regal on the red carpet.  Viola Davis in this royal blue gown looks rather nice.  Blue is Viola’s emotional romantic colors.  He says possibly a more romantic type of material like chiffon would have worked a little bit better.  And even though the bottom hem of the gown got wet in the rain, she still looked great.

MARGOT ROBBIE

The gown design is gorgeous and interesting.  Margot is wearing one of her emotional center colors -pink.  But Greycastle says the design lines and material of the outfit are not so romantic, she would have been better off wearing it in white or yellow or golden – her sexual glamorous center colors.

In cases like her gown, Greycastle can better match colors, lines and material to which one of the 7 center image types they are trying to project that will make their whole look come together in a much more fantastic way.  All aspects of color and design will harmoniously come together to create a perfect look.

Most of the time they have a gorgeous gown or ensemble but it’s not in the right colors attuned to their energy centers.  Greycastle says they get the colors wrong because they do not know the Name Colorology philosophy.  He is very open to collaborating with these actors so they need to get in touch with him for his color and style advice.

Let’s continue…

LI JUN LI

Li has the perfect figure for this gown style.  Greycastle says that it would even look more fantastic if the gown was in a royal blue or glamorous yellow because her sexual glamorous center colors are yellow, gold and blue with jewelry and purse in those colors also maybe a different hairstyle… a knockout for sure.”

LETITIA WRIGHT

Greycastle says white is Letitia’s primary glamorous sexual center color and the rust orange is her intellectual center color.  The colors look very good on her but he said the material should have been of a more glamorous, shimmering type.  And she would have thrown an absolute knockout punch on the carpet.

If you can, just look at her shoe, and see how nice the glamorous shimmer of her shoes harmonize so much better with her skin color.

ANYA TAYLOR-JOY

This lime color outfit is a combination of her spiritual center color and her heart /physical center color which is her youthful, cheerful personality center, and her warm, heart center personality.  She would look much better in this outfit if she would have been smiling more to bring out those qualities. Also, her jewelry and hair color do not complement the color of this gown.

Greycastle said the overall look is very chic and elegant.  The best part is the skirt with those tassels.   Her make-up did not harmonize with the outfit.  A bit more color in her cheekbones, eyebrows and lips would have helped greatly.
